Jungle Dogs

When we first moved to our 1 acre lot and built a house, we took the fill dirt that the construction guys dug up from making a bed for the slab and piled it up in the back of our half acre backyard creating a “burm” or small hill. The next spring, my mom had the time of her life planting it full of native Texas plants and wild flowers. 4 Years later, it makes for great dog pictures. :)

Charlie… Who is “Camera Shy”

My mom’s first Norwich is a 5 year old female named Charlie, and since Charlie is “Camera Shy” the only time I can get good pics of her is when I’m far away from her (normally in the back yard) and using a long lens, but I did get a few good ones of her the other day;

Water+Pool+Dogs=Big Wet Mess

Recently I was out watering and the dogs would not get out from under the hose stream so I dragged out the kitty pool, filled it, and grabbed my camera. An hour later, covered in water, the dogs were finally content.

4th of July Fireworks

I had a awesome 4th of July! Because I got photos of the fireworks!!!!!!!!!! Good ones!!!!!!!!!! First, I must give thanks to Scott Kelby for his books and giving tips to photographers, and because of his books I learned the trick to getting firework shots. (thanks Scott!)

Before the annitial show, a Biplane started flying around us and he had sparklers under both of his wings and I got some cool pics of that;
