The Harbor
By KRae Merk | August 24, 2009
I had a bit of a different twist to my weekend, a friend of mine invited my over for a sleepover and a day at the Rockwall Harbor in Rockwall TX.

We had fun window shopping, watching boats, taking pictures, swapping jokes, eating ice cream, and breaking every rule on having fun.

This was the water fall outside the theater.

And the lighthouse out on the pier.

Of course at every harbor there are the local ducks;

I just love this shot! Everything makes it; the water rippling, the duck slightly off centered, the reflection…

Oh, note to photographers; the Harbor in Rockwall TX is the a great place for taking great photos. I wish I could post all the pics I got, but that would be impossible. The Harbor faces west and so makes for some awesome water sunset shots, and there is always a few boats in the lake to photograph, including ski boats, sail boats, and a small yacht or two… and, not to mention, great restaurants.
